As a result, the “LA number” becomes unclear, leading to a ridiculous ticket being imposed on you.

But the series of unfortunate events doesn’t end there. Instead of simply directing you to the tax office to replace the damaged disc, your vehicle is seized and sent to a car pound, forcing you to pay a wrecking fee, pound storage fee, and endure a day-long ordeal shuttling between the pound, police headquarters, Transport Authority, and the Tax Office.
