Shocking News: Assistant Commissioner of Jamaica Fire Brigade Faces Rape Charges
In a stunning development, a prominent figure within the Jamaica Fire Brigade is facing serious legal action. Assistant Commissioner Floyd McLean, a high-ranking official in the JFB, has been charged with attempted rape and sexual touching involving a minor.
The alleged victim, a 14-year-old girl, was reportedly participating in voluntary service at the Jamaica Fire Brigade headquarters located in the picturesque Montego Bay, St. James.
On the fateful day of July 20, 2023, an incident unfolded that sent shockwaves through the community. The young girl reportedly had an encounter with Assistant Commissioner McLean in his office.
Disturbingly, it is alleged that McLean made unwanted advances towards her, attempting to engage in non-consensual intercourse. The young girl demonstrated immense strength by resisting his advances, but the situation took an even darker turn. Reportedly, McLean proceeded to engage in inappropriate touching.
The gravity of the situation deepened further when it came to light that after the alleged assault, McLean shockingly propositioned the young girl, asking her to become his girlfriend.
This distressing incident came to the attention of the authorities due to the courage of the young girl. On the very same day, she disclosed the traumatic experience to her aunt, who in turn reported the incident to the police.
