There are contradictory accounts concerning the incident that occurred in New Kingston on Thursday and resulted in the injury of a police officer.
According to reports, the police officer was on a motorbike when he smashed into the car after the driver made an unlawful turn while the vehicle was moving down the busy route.
The injured policeman was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He also had a fractured leg.
Following the tragedy, claims that the police were looking for the driver also surfaced.
The driver was reportedly arrested, according to a secondary check with the Corporate Communication Unit, the police information arm, and the report.
However, TalkUpDiTingsDem News’ independent investigation has found otherwise.
According to the investigation, the motorist was given two citations for making an unlawful turn on the busy route.

He was escorted to the inspection depot, where the car he was operating was also examined.

Additionally, according to sources, the driver has now received the vehicle back.

According to the driver who is suspected of breaking the law, despite claims that police were looking for him, he never left the location.

He said that he waited at the scene after the event and received two fines.

According to reports, the car was afterward brought to the inspection depot for inspection before being given back to the driver.
