A Man was subsequently chopped to death, & another was injured in an incident in Red Hills

On Friday, September 16, a machete-wielding crazed man attacked and chopped two men, one of the men was fatally injured.

Based on reports we gathered a construction worker was on his way to work early at 7am, when suddenly the perpetrator started to chase him, then proceeded to chop him.

Another unidentified man was also attacked and chopped, but he managed to slip away and made his way to the red hills police station to report what happened.

the red hills police station dispatched a team to try and apprehend the crazed man with the machete, upon reaching the reported location where the man was last seen, he was seen fleeing by the roadway.

A few witnesses told us talkupditingsdem news that before the police apprehended the suspected attacker

he was about to harm a woman.

The man was detained, but not before an officer had to fire a few warning shots in the air, in order to get him to stop, so other members of the police force could apprehend and disarm him.

both victims were rushed to the hospital but sadly the construction worker, the one that was attacked first, succumbed to his wounds inflicted by the crazed man.
