A baby was among the four persons shot at a shop in the St James area

The Major Investigations Division (MID) Area One branch has assigned Investigators to probe the events enveloping the suspicious shooting death of 2 men and 2 others, including a Baby, by an unknown attacker on Tuesday at Goodwill main road located in St James. 

The identity of both deceased persons from the St James address was made available, they are (Venroy Crooks) 37-year-old, From the Content district, he is said to be a musician,

And  (Kenique Llewellyn) 34-year-old, who is said to be a shopkeeper in the Goodwill community.

Information gathered from the authority is that at about 3:45pm, Crooks and Llewellyn were among a bunch of individuals standing at a shop that he is a keeper of, located at a section of the Goodwill main road when they were attacked by gunmen that were traveling in a Toyota Premio motor car.

upon exiting the car the men started opening a hail of gunfire on the group.

The moment the shooting stopped it was discovered that 4 persons got shot along with a  toddler, who was also wounded.

Witnesses that noticed what was going on quickly called the police and Crooks, Llewellyn, the baby, with another unidentified man was taken to the hospital but Crooks and Llewellyn were pronounced dead on arrival.

The others were admitted in stable condition and are now being treated.
