In his apology to his victims, a serial rapist receives a 21-year jail term.

	Serial rapist Everton Bennett said sorry to his victims before being sentenced to a cumulative sentence of 94 years. But based on the sentencing rules he will serve a maximum of 21 years.

Everton Bennett, who organized a series of kidnappings, rapes, and robberies in February 2021 and was just given a 21-year prison term, has expressed regret to the four women who testified against him.

Bennett reportedly told the probation officer who interviewed him that he is sorry for his actions against the women and that he knows they will be feeling “shame and fear,” according to a Social Enquiry Report (SER), the specifics of which were entered into the court’s records last Thursday during sentencing.

Between February 3 and February 15, 2021, Bennett—who was the primary aggressor—performed the attacks on the ladies while working with two other males. The cops have not yet apprehended his two accomplices.

Bennett entered a guilty plea in the Gun Court as part of a plea deal to a 17-count indictment presented by the Crown, which was prosecuted by Iodine Williams. The indictment accused Bennett of many charges of rape, forceful kidnapping, robbery with aggravation, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Bennett was given a total term of 94 years by Justice Judith Pusey of the Supreme Court on Thursday.

Bennett received a 17-year sentence of hard labor on three charges of unlawful handgun possession. He received sentences of nine years of hard labor for the five crimes of robbery with aggravation and eleven years of hard labor for the five offenses of forceful abduction. In addition, he received sentences of 17 years, 1 month, and 10 days for one conviction of rape, 19 years for a second, and 21 years for two further charges.

Bennett, though, will face the longest jail sentence of all—21 years—because the judge mandated that the sentences be served simultaneously.

Bennett must serve a minimum of 15 years in jail before being eligible for release, according to the ruling.

According to the prosecution’s claims, Bennett allegedly hired a 2012 gray Toyota Axio automobile on February 3, 2021, originally for three days, and then extended the agreement four more times up until February 15.

In one of those instances, according to authorities, a woman and her two kids were being held up by males in a car as they made their way home from church at about 9:00 p.m. on February 20, 2021.

The ladies were taken off the road into bushes after being forced into the car at gunpoint. There, they were robbed of their cash and mobile phones. The thugs then took turns sexually assaulting the girls while making sure the mother, who they kept confined in the car, was watching. She was not hurt in that attack. After 11:00 p.m., according to investigators, the women were subsequently freed near where they were first kidnapped.

Bennett reportedly told the investigating officer, “One more missâ€after mi nah come out ya now,” in reference to the several accusations he was facing, as he was being detained and warned in connection with this case.

In a different occurrence, the security guard woman was being driven to work when two of the three males, one of whom was carrying a pistol, ordered her into the car. Bennett asked her if she was a virgin and if she had heard of recent killings in the neighborhood before robbing her and raping her.

Two days later, the same group of guys attacked again, kidnapping a student and robbing her of her phone and cash. Bennett raped the young lady after driving to a deserted road, despite the other guys telling him that she had claimed her period was about to start.

But according to the police, Bennett and the other two men—who they have yet to apprehend—had assaulted more than just the four women throughout that time.

“We would have had more instances if the complaints hadn’t come in one after the other; nonetheless, several complainants withdrew out of fear. It was actually a series of incidents with the same description and modus, but the victims came forward, filed a report, and underwent medical evaluation, but they simply did not show up to deal with the trauma of having their statements recorded and everything else, so without that, we are unable to bring charges [for those victims] because they stated they did not want to proceed because they did not want to relive, among other reasons “According to a police source, TalkUpDiTingsDem.

Following Bennett’s sentencing, prosecutor Hodine Williams spoke to TalkUpDiTingsDem News: “These kinds of offenses are among the most heinous transgressions you could make against another person; they are a distinct sort of evil. These strong, courageous ladies in the numerous situations had grit, and I’m delighted they stepped forward and let the prosecution—the police and prosecutors—help them in their period of recovery by helping them obtain some justice.”

Bennett, who had willingly provided a DNA sample to the police and stated that his car had been stolen in August 2020, was apprehended thanks to forensic evidence as well as the women’s testimony. Bennett was identified as the source of the male DNA discovered in the semen recovered from the sexual assault forensic evidence (SAFE) kits of the various complainants after the forensics lab finished its analysis of materials connected to the four women.
