Heartbreaking plea: Help find Kimoya, stolen from Kingston Public Hospital. Join the search to
reunite her with desperate parents.
In a heart-wrenching plea for help, Kevin Robe and his wife are desperately seeking their stolen
newborn daughter, Kimoya Shantana Robe. The unimaginable nightmare unfolded at the Kingston Public
Hospital (KPH), where their 11-day-old baby was snatched from her mother’s arms on Monday.
Kevin Robe’s anguished cry, “Mi just want back my daughter,” reverberates through downtown Kingston,
echoing the profound loss and desperation gripping the young parents.
The harrowing incident occurred around 10:05 am, when a woman, familiar to the mother from previous
clinic visits, cunningly exploited the vulnerable situation. Offering assistance to wheelchair-bound
mother, she deceitfully gained possession of Kimoya.
Described by witnesses as a woman in her thirties, of medium build and brown complexion, standing at approximately 167 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall, the suspect vanished into thin air, clad in a white blouse, blue jeans, and white slippers.
Despite frantic attempts to intercept the perpetrator, she vanished without a trace, leaving behind shattered hopes and inconsolable parents. The baby, adorned in a pink polka dot onesie, green and white socks, and a green hat, remains missing, her absence a gaping wound in the Robe family’s hearts.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a rigorous investigation, urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward. The Denham Town police can be reached at 922-6441, or individuals can contact police emergency services at 119 or the nearest police station.
Witness the heartrending testimony of Kimoya’s devastated parents, as they recount the traumatic ordeal and implore the community for assistance in reuniting their family.
