Four were injured and one dead after a crash in St. Mary

A two-vehicle collision this morning on the Stewart Town Main Road in St. Mary injured five people, one of whom died.
Sydney Condapper, a 29-year-old resident of Highgate in the parish, has been named as the victim.
The four further victims were transferred to St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital with significant injuries.
It happened around seven o’clock.

A Toyota Hiace bus and a cab carrying passengers both collided.
The taxi ran off the road and into a ditch as a result of the collision’s impact.

Firefighters who rushed to the tragedy had to cut the injured people out of the wrecked car.

The police showed up at the scene as well.
