Regional test papers from the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) were among the materials taken from Saint James High School in Montego Bay during the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to sources close to the educational institution.

According to Loop News, robbers stormed into the school between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday and stole a fireproof safe containing test papers for the full week of sittings.

It is also stated that student papers are among the objects that have gone missing.

The intruders did, however, leave behind a safe with canteen data.
The police are investigating the incident, according to a statement issued by CXC earlier on Wednesday.
That is the second compromise of CXC test material in Jamaica this year, following a mathematics paper breach earlier this year.
Additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
