The St. James police are looking into the shooting deaths of two guys who went on a failed goat-stealing mission in the parish on Wednesday night and are thought to have been shot.
The men were apprehended robbing goats at Adelphi’s Corner Lane.
According to the authorities, the Toyota Voxy that the males arrived in the region in included a goat.
The police are advising locals not to avenge themselves in response to the development.
“Any type of jungle justice is not something we support. We are pleading with locals to refrain from enforcing the law themselves and give the police the freedom to conduct their jobs “A senior policeman said.
The alleged goat thieves were apprehended and slaughtered locally twice this week.
