Late on a Monday night, the quiet Burnt Savannah community in Westmoreland was disrupted by the sound of gunshots that echoed through the night. Concerned residents immediately alerted the local police, setting off a sequence of events that would uncover a grim scene. Alden Watson, a taxi operator known within the community, was discovered in his motor car, bearing the tragic marks of multiple gunshot wounds.
