According to the available information, the distressing incident unfolded around 9:00 pm when Broomfield forcefully entered the victim’s apartment, triggering a physical altercation. During this horrifying encounter, the victim sustained multiple facial injuries that led to her losing consciousness.
Subsequently, she discovered that she had been sexually assaulted. In the wake of this traumatic event, the victim promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to Broomfield’s arrest.
On a later date, Sunday, August 20, Kevin Broomfield was formally charged after an intensive question-and-answer session with law enforcement.
