Slim getaway: Taxicab catches fire at lee’s food fair on Red Hills Road

Shocking news, a cabbie traveling along red hills road in St Andrew on Monday, when his moto vehicle caught fire suddenly, he nearly escaped injury.

this incident happened just a few feet from a gas station that is normally very busy at that time of the day.

The taxi driver told talkupditingsdem News that he wishes to keep his identity concealed, however, he did tell us that he was just on his way to Half-Way-Tree when he noticed puffs of smoke coming from the front of the vehicle.

he decided to pull over and check out what was going on.

at the time he was in the vicinity of Lee’s Food Fair, after pulling over he opened the bonnet of the vehicle and was greeted with flames.

Luckily the driver was able to get his documents from the vehicle before the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames on Wednesday afternoon.

Huge Thanks to the Firefighters for being so quick on the scene and managing to extinguish the blaze. 

but sadly Only the frame of the vehicle was left.

thankfully No one was harmed in the incident which occurred after 6pm.
