The early Wednesday morning shooting deaths of a man and a woman on the parish’s major route near Kendal are under investigation by the Manchester police.

The deceased has been named as Shamoy Borah, 22, of Comma Pen, St. Elizabeth, and Damion Robinson, 29, also known as “Bleachaz,” of a Mike Town residence in the parish.

The two were reportedly traveling in a gray Toyota Mark X car with another lady around 12:15 a.m. when they were assaulted.

Residents reportedly called the authorities when they heard loud blasts.

The two were later discovered with shooting wounds.

They were brought to a hospital, where Robinson was declared deceased upon arrival and Borah passed away from complications while receiving care.
