A father in St. Ann will probably not have a joyful Father’s Day this year because he was obliged to report two of his kids to the police after they allegedly physically assaulted him on June 10 during a fight in Watt Town’s Endeavour sector.

The St. Ann police have accused the complainant’s daughter and son of intentionally inflicting harm.

Karisa Barnett, 47, and Ryan Barnett, 34, both from the Endeavour district, are the accused siblings.

According to reports from the Watt Town police, on June 10 at around 8:30 pm, the siblings and their father got into an argument during which Ryan beat his old father on the head with a metal pipe.

The man is said to have been repeatedly kicked in the stomach by Karisa after he collapsed to the ground.
The three continued to wrestle, but eventually, the father could flee. He then called the police to report what had happened.
Last Tuesday, the two siblings were taken into custody and later charged.

The cops stated that their court date was now being finalized.
