Kingston, Jamaica According to the Hanover police, a suspect has been detained in connection with Wednesday’s horrific rape and murder of nine-year-old Nikita Noel in the parish.
The accused is in arrest, Sharon Beeput, head of the Hanover Police Division, revealed to OBSERVER ONLINE.
His identity hasn’t been made public yet.
According to reports, Noel, an Esher Primary pupil, did not arrive home from school on Wednesday in afternoon.
Later, her body was discovered a few meters from her house.
Noel is said to have been raped before being fatally strangled.
