In a drive-by shooting on Saturday in Wilberforce in Brown’s Town, St. Ann, a 32-year-old farmer was shot and died.
Jumani Walford, also known as “Jet Lee,” was killed. He lived on Lincoln Road in Wilberforce, Brown’s Town.
According to reports, Walford was shot multiple times by an unidentified individual or persons at 2:50 am on Saturday when he was out strolling in a part of his neighbourhood.
The car then took off quickly.
Neighbours who heard the blasts called the police, who found Walford with gunshot wounds when they arrived.
He was transported to the hospital and admitted for care, but later that day he passed away from his wounds.
The development is being looked into by the Brown’s Town police.
