No one was hurt based on the information we have gotten so far

This was the case when in 2018 A Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) helicopter crashed in St Catherine.

The JDF’s civil-military cooperation and media affairs officer Major Basil Jarrett told The Gleaner a short while ago that the helicopter came down in the area of Dunbeholden, which runs between Portmore and Spanish Town.

Jarrett said the pilot, the sole occupant, was injured and taken to hospital.

He said emergency workers are now at the scene.

More information to come.
