Reports are that 46-year-old Ijah Thomas, AKA ‘Ister’, a known fisherman plus a farmer from Bob Marley Beach in the St Thomas area was reportedly shot dead on Monday in his community while minding his own business.
Information that was gathered from the Yallahs police station tells us that, at about 4:30pm, in the evening.
tenants all said they heard gunshots coming from (Ijah Thomas) small store located on the beach and called the nearest police authority.
The moment the police arrived they noticed that Thomas was seen reclined on a stool suffering from gunshot wounds to his face.
the police made an exuberant effort to get him to the hospital but, it was too late for him, upon arrival at the hospital the medical team tried effortlessly to revive him but he was too far gone.
The police are saying investigations definitely continue.
