On Monday, January 23, a woman’s mobile phone was stolen on Warren Street in St Ann’s Bay, St Ann. The phone was tracked, and the police were able to apprehend and charge a guy.

Samuel Marshall, also known as “Sammy,” 20, of Green Bay in Steer Town, St. Ann, is accused of robbery with aggravation, possessing a banned weapon, and using a prohibited weapon to conduct a felony.

According to reports, the woman and a companion were strolling down the road at around 6:47 p.m. when they were held at gunpoint by a masked guy, who also took the woman’s cell phone.

Following notification to the authorities, the mobile phone was traced and purportedly discovered in Marshall’s hands.

Later, he allegedly admitted to being the robber.

The police then filed a case against him.

His court appearance has been scheduled.
