Two teenage boys are accused of breaking into a school’s tuck shop on Laws Street in Kingston on Saturday and stealing money. They have been charged with shop breaking and theft.
According to police reports, two teenagers—a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old—pried open the primary school’s tuck shop window at around 8:45 p.m. and stole items worth more than $50,000.
Police were notified of the incident.
The boys were detained and charged by the police two days after the incident; their identities have not been released because they are minors.
Some of the stolen goods, according to the police, were also found.
On July 6, they are scheduled to show up in court.
