At approximately 11:10 p.m., police received a distress call reporting a Robbery with Aggravation along Coleyville Avenue, Kingston 20. The young inDrive driver stated that a man, posing as a passenger, brandished a firearm, hijacked the moving car, and forced him out. Miraculously, the victim escaped unharmed and immediately notified law enforcement.

Following the report, the Police Emergency Communication Centre (PECC) activated an urgent cross-divisional operation. Using electronic tracking technology, the stolen vehicle was quickly located in Portmore, St. Catherine, near Jam World Complex on Dyke Road.

There, law enforcement teams from St. Andrew South and St. Catherine South Divisions intercepted the vehicle and made a disturbing discovery: the suspect behind the wheel was none other than a Detective Corporal currently serving in the JCF.
