After opening fire on many sites in Memphis, Tennessee, killing four people and injuring three more, a suspected attacker was detained.
According to local sources, the shooting spree on Wednesday began at 12:56 PM (17:56 GMT) and lasted until late at night. The injured were transported to a hospital.
Police called the shooting spree a “mobile mass shooting” and issued a shelter-in-place order for the neighborhood as they looked for the culprit, Ezekiel D. Kelly.
South of Memphis, in Southaven, there were at least eight crime scenes, seven shootings, and a Dodge Challenger carjacking, according to the police. The suspect crashed during a high-speed pursuit and was apprehended. He had streamed his actions on Facebook Live.
