Man killed and two others hurt after shooter opens fire in a bar in St. Mary

On Thursday night, a shooter opened fire at a pub in Stewart Town, St. Mary, leaving one man dead and two others with gunshot wounds.

Martin Scott, sometimes known as “Bobo,” 35, was a craftsman from the St. Ann settlements of Huddersfield and Exchange.

According to police accounts, Scott was a customer at a local tavern at about 7:30 p.m. when a gunman opened fire before fleeing the area.

Scott, a lady, and another male were discovered with gunshot wounds after the firing stopped.

After being transported to a hospital, Scott was declared deceased and the other injured people were admitted.

The incident is being looked into by the St. Mary police.
