Jamaica’s ST. Thomas A licensed gun owner shot and wounded a pupil at St. Thomas Technical High School on Tuesday afternoon.

Superintendent Allison Byfield, the head of the St. Thomas police, verified the occurrence and stated that the injured student had been taken to a hospital.

TalkUpDiTingsDem was informed that the incident allegedly took place outside the school’s entrance.

Superintendent Byfield stated, “The student is in stable condition, and a statement from the licensed handgun holder is being recorded.”

The licensed gun owner reportedly witnessed a group of boys fighting while driving down the major road close to the school. According to reports, he stepped in when one of the youngsters stabbed another boy with a knife.

According to reports, the licensed gun owner discharged his pistol into the ground to try to diffuse the situation. The two guys then fell, and he saw that one of them was bleeding. Then he hurried him to the hospital.
