Jamaican Transporters seeking traffic ticket amnesty

Jamaican drivers are demanding a traffic ticket amnesty, based on the unfair implementation of new traffic laws, which state that all outstanding tickets will automatically become warrants, and said warrants can be served during the holiday season, such as Christmas day and Christmas eve, and new years day.

The jamaica taxi association is said to be in full agreement with a well-orchestrated plan for all taxi drivers and bus drivers to strike on (Monday, November 14, 2022).

There is also a petition page where you can sign up and take part in the fight against this injustice from the government of jamaica.
