Jamaica’s ST. Catherine During a heist on Sunday morning, a gunman shot one of the two guys and made off with more than $30,000 while leaving a full magazine behind.

The Red Ground neighborhood in Old Harbour, St. Catherine, was the scene of the intense drama.

The 20-year-old wounded guy was taken to the hospital, but his companion managed to flee the scene without getting hurt.

According to police accounts, a handgun-wielding guy ambushed both men as they pulled up to a location after attending a wake in the Bartons section of Old Harbour at approximately 3:35 a.m.

Upon spotting the shooter, the car’s driver fled right away, leaving the injured victim behind.

According to the authorities, the shooter grabbed $35,000 from the car, drove the last victim up to the Red Ground main road at Halstead Spring, shot him in the head, and then took off.

When the police arrived, they discovered the man had been shot in the head. The Old Harbour Operation Support Unit transported him quickly to the hospital, where he was hospitalized in serious condition.

The gunman left behind a Glock magazine with 16 live 9mm bullets, which the police found when examining the murder scene.
