After an incident on January 24 at a hospital in the Corporate Area, a 14-year-old kid from Central Road in St. Andrew has been charged with unauthorized possession of ammunition and an offensive weapon.
According to reports from the Denham Town police, the teen’s backpack was snatched from him while he was being transported to the hospital at around 4:30 pm.
Four pairs of scissors and two rounds of ammo were reportedly discovered during the search and taken into custody.
After making a report to the police, the boy was taken into custody and charged after a question-and-answer session with his lawyer present.
His court date is now being set.
