In a devastating incident on Thursday afternoon, tragedy struck on the Cave main road in Westmoreland as a trailer truck collided with a motorcycle, claiming the lives of two individuals. Adrian Tomlinson, 30, from Top Lincoln, Grange Hill, and Calvin Palmer, 28, from Causeway District in Grange Hill, tragically lost their lives in the accident.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the motorcycle, driven by Calvin with Adrian as the pillion, was closely following a Honda vehicle attempting to overtake another vehicle. As the trailer truck, en route from Savanna-La-Mar to Whitehouse approached from the opposite direction, the Honda abruptly pulled back into its lane, causing the motorcycle to collide with it. The impact sent both riders tumbling into the path of the oncoming truck, resulting in a fatal outcome.
