Spanish Town, St. Catherine – In a tragic incident on Friday morning, a truck fatally struck 20-year-old Brittny Hunter, a call centre agent from Commodore, Linstead, near Walks Road. This heart-wrenching accident has left the community in shock and mourning.

The call center worker Brittny Hunter exited a taxi and began crossing the road when a truck, approaching from the left, collided with her. The impact was devastating, causing her death instantly. A nearby coaster bus turning right at the moment of the accident created a blind spot, preventing both the truck driver and Brittny from seeing each other in time.

 

The truck driver, clearly shaken, stopped immediately and rushed to assist Brittny. Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and police arrived to manage the situation. Brittny was transported to Spanish Town Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
