A shocking incident has rocked the community in Toronto, Canada. A 14-year-old boy has been charged
with double murder and seven counts of attempted murder following a shooting on June 2, which claimed
the lives of two Jamaican men, Delroy ‘George’ Parkes, 61, and Seymour ‘Tappa’ Gibbs, 46. Both men, originally from St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica, were among five individuals who were shot that night in the parking lot of North Albion Collegiate Institute in northwest Toronto.
14-year-old boys Incident Details:
The tragic event unfolded around 10:53 pm when someone ambushed nine men who had gathered in the
parking lot after a game of football. According to the Toronto Police Service (TPS), a dark pickup
truck drove into the lot, and two suspects exited the vehicle, opening fire on the group before
fleeing the scene. Gunfire struck five men; Parkes succumbed to his injuries shortly after
reaching the hospital, and Gibbs passed away three days later due to complications.
