On the fateful day, Shanae’s mother, Tanisha Williams, received a shocking phone call from Schloss, who confessed to shooting Shanae. “Him say him shoot her because she waa lef him,” Williams recounted. The confrontation reportedly began when Schloss accused Shanae of cheating, catching her with another man.

Shanae and Keire met during their time at Old Harbour High School and began dating in 2022. After Shanae migrated to the U.S., she worked at a restaurant while maintaining her relationship with Schloss. However, trouble brewed beneath the surface, as Shanae hinted to her mother about issues in the relationship just weeks before the tragic incident.
