Khadene Thomas, 35, a financial adviser at a bank branch in St. Ann, was charged on Friday, January 15 with a number of offenses following claims that she unlawfully stole money from a bank client between 2020 and 2022.

Thomas is accused of

(1) Fraud

2. Presenting fake documents

3. Unauthorized access to data on computers

4. Intentional access to computer data

5. stealing from a servant

6. Making a purchase involving illegal property

Thomas was apprehended on Friday, January 13, according to reports from police working with the Fraud Squad. The claims state that Thomas made a series of unauthorized transactions from a client account to her account between July 2020 and October 2022.
According to early investigations, US$143,000 has been fraudulently obtained.
On Friday, January 20, 2023, Thomas is due to appear at St Ann’s Bay Parish Court.
