Over the Easter holidays, a video of a woman eating an Easter bun went viral on social media.

The woman and her content-creating partner published the video to a well-known portal.

The girl is seen playing a practical joke on her boyfriend at the beginning of the video.

Yea girl, I’m Steven Bun, she stated in a video conversation with her pal. In Jamaica, the word “bun” is slang for deception.

It’s a double entendre to say you’re going to gift your lover a “bun” on Easter when Jamaicans often eat the pastry with a slice of cheese.

She said, “mi nah gi yuh bun, a joke me a mek, an Easter Bunny me a speak,” in response to the guy who could be heard in the background asking, “Weh you mean you a gi mi bun.”

The two then appear to be performing for the camera as a pair. Both buns were buttered at the conclusion of the video.
