A man who kicked a vulnerable lady on camera was detained

Police have taken into custody the guy who was captured on camera kicking a lady as she lay helpless on the ground.

He is a laborer named Jovany Stephenson who lives in St. Andrew. On Friday, he was detained in the Kingston Central police division on Charles Street.

Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, head of the St. Andrew Central Police Division, corroborated the information.

We will undoubtedly begin a procedure around him because he is now traveling from there to us, Nesbeth added.

Stephenson was caught on camera on Wednesday allegedly hitting a lady who he allegedly had a kid with.

He continuously kicks the woman while shouting profanities at her in the 18-second video footage.

Later, he escaped the area.
