TRAIN STUDENTS TO FOLLOW THE RULES WHEN YOU DO NOT ABIDE BY THE RULES!!!
You might have seen the news item where Merl Grove High was featured having a school function with a large gathering of students. Indications are that this could be in breach of the C-19 regulations. If our schools do not abide by the regulations, then what do you expect from the children? The authorities must thoroughly investigate this matter, and if the principal or anyone broke the law, they must face penalties. The school board must act!

We have not received any further information about the company in New Kingston, which allegedly breached the Disaster Risk Management Act while preparing for a function. Reports indicate that music was playing from the company building during the C-19 curfew hours.

Under the government’s Disaster Risk Management Act, there are rules to follow which include how many persons are to be at certain locations at one time. One television station showed us on the news last night that a significant number of students were in one location at the Merl Grove High School in Kingston.
The chairman of the board, the principal, and also the chaplain of the school who were at the school function speaking need to make some public statements. Many people are concerned that when others breach the Disaster Risk Management Act, police load them into trucks and take them to the station.
