Police in St. Thomas now have control of an illegal handgun that was found during a quick search of the Needham Pen neighbourhood on July 3rd.
According to the Morant Bay police, at 3pm, law enforcement officers carried out an operation in the mentioned area based on intelligence, during which a Mac-10 submachine gun with a deleted serial number was discovered and seized.
In connection with the seizure, nobody has been detained.
The find is the subject of ongoing investigations.
